Where things stand today
- BioSensei is free to use during the current launch phase. No subscription is required.
- There is no advertising and no sponsorship in BioSensei today, and no sponsor tracking of any kind.
- Optional Dr BioSensei AI analysis uses your own AI provider key; that provider bills you directly.
What we intend
Sponsorship is the funding model we intend to use. Before any sponsor appears in the app or on this site, these principles will apply. They are commitments, published now so they can be checked later.
Our principles
- Assessments stay independent. No sponsor can change the order of your ecosystems, the findings on a priority card, a reference range, a freshness state, or the wording of any assessment, safety warning or Dr BioSensei verdict.
- No sponsorship inside safety paths. Sponsored material will never appear inside priority cards, “verify” notices, the caretaker hand-over brief, the Vet tab or Dr BioSensei verdicts.
- Always labelled. Anything sponsored will say “Sponsored by …” clearly, at the same size as the content around it. Our own products — such as Ajinomatrix Home Biotope kits — will be marked as ours.
- Your records are not for sale. Private ecosystem records — measurements, notes, photos, animal health observations — will never be sold, rented or shared for advertising. If sponsors ever receive figures, they will be aggregate and anonymous.
- A sponsor is not an endorsement. Sponsorship does not mean a product is recommended, tested or compatible. “Works with BioSensei” will be used only for devices that have passed our own bench tests, and no manufacturer partnership is claimed unless it is confirmed.
- No new tracking without notice. No advertising or sponsor tracking will be switched on without a separate decision and an update to our privacy information first.
